Household Supplies

Help Turn Empty Spaces into Homes

Moving into a new home after experiencing homelessness is a big step—but many of our guests exiting the shelter start with little more than an empty space. At Tedford Housing, we provide “Move-In Kits” filled with essential household items to help individuals and families settle in with dignity and comfort. These kits include everything from bedding and kitchen supplies to cleaning products and toiletries—items that make a new space feel like home.

Your donations of household goods directly support our guests as they transition from homelessness to home. Thank you for helping us create a welcoming start for our neighbors in need.

We kindly request NEW, unopened donations for these move-in kits to ensure our guests have a fresh start with their own personal belongings. While we truly appreciate the value of gently used items, providing new items helps give our guests the opportunity to begin life in their own home with a clean slate. For gently used goods, clothing, furniture, and other items we are unable to accept, please see the resources at the bottom of this page for alternative donation options.
