In-Kind Donations
Would you like to donate to Tedford in a non-monetary way? Through your generous donations of these items on our Household Supply Wishlist, we are able to shower our guests with everything they need when they finally move into their new home and ensure that our families have what they need when moving into our family shelter units.
‘CLYNK’ Your Returnable Bottles and Cans
Collect your returnable bottles and cans in one of Tedford’s tagged ‘CLYNK’ bags and drop it off at your local Hannaford. Bags can be picked up at our office, located at 14 Middle St Brunswick, Monday – Thursday 10am – 3pm.

Stock Gifts
Tedford Housing is also happy to accept gifts of stock from donors. If you would like to transfer stock to Tedford Housing, please download the Delivery Instructions for Electronic Gifts of Stock (PDF) or contact Danielle Triffitt, Director of Administration via email or phone at 207-729-1161, ext 100 with any questions.
Required Minimum Distribution
If you are required to take minimum distributions annually from your IRA or another retirement plan, you can make a direct transfer of your “Required Minimum Distribution” to Tedford Housing of up to $100,000. You will avoid all income tax on your withdrawal, even if you don’t itemize. Contact your IRA custodian with questions or to initiate a gift. Make sure your name is included in the memo line of the distribution check so we can identify and thank you.

United Way Campaign Donations
Tedford Housing is a partner agency of the United Way of Mid Coast Maine and United Way of Androscoggin County. Many companies offer the opportunity to give to a designated United Way agency via payroll deduction. Employees can choose to donate a small amount from their paycheck to Tedford Housing each pay period.
Matching Gifts
Many companies offer matching gifts programs to encourage their employee’s philanthropic activities.
