Homeless Persons’ Memorial Service
St Paul’s Episcopal Church, Brunswick
December 21, 2023 – 5 pm
Please join Tedford Housing and St Paul’s Episcopal Church in Brunswick as we remember individuals from our homeless community who passed away during the year. We will gather at St. Paul’s at 5 p.m. for a short service inside. Weather permitting, we will light candles to hold a candlelight vigil outside.

Brunswick Downtown Association BBQ
September 9, 2023 – 11:30am- 2:00pm
Town Mall, Maine Street, Brunswick
Tedford Housing will have an informational table at the BDA Community BBQ. Please join us and we will share with you our mission to empower people to move from homelessness to home. This event pays Tribute to First Responders & Health Care Workers and recognizes their service and dedication to our community.
This fun, family friendly event features a barbecue of burgers and hot dogs, live music and plenty of fun activities for all! Bring a blanket or lawn chair for seating. Everyone welcome!
Spark Cycling Fundraising Ride Event
September 17, 2023 – 8:00 am
Spark Cycling Studio, 29 Burbank Ave. on Brunswick Landing
- Sign-up starts at 12pm on Sunday, 9/10
- The class is free with a requested donation of $20 (or more!) – cash/check/Venmo donations
- Class is appropriate for riders of all abilities and experience levels!

Bath Citizens Involvement Day
October 7, 2023 – 9:30am – 12:30pm
Location, Waterfront Park, 61 Commercial St, Bath
Tedford Housing will have an informational table at Bath’s Citizen Involvement Day. Please join us and we will share with the community our mission of empowering people to move from homelessness to home. This is a community building event that brings awareness about service organizations to the public and honors individuals and groups that work to benefit the City of Bath and its residents. It is held on the Saturday of Indigenous Peoples’ Day Weekend every October.
The event has a fun, festive atmosphere. Come learn more about Bath and stay to enjoy the live music and beautiful views of the Kennebec.
Ben Bernier Memorial Run, Walk, Toss
October 8, 2023 – 10:00am – 3:00pm
Pineland Farm – 15 Farm View Dr., New Gloucester
The event will include:
- 5k timed Trail Race (run or walk)
- Family Fun Walk
- Disc golf
- Kids activities
- If you’d like to join but are not interested in participating in the Run, Walk, or Toss, you can still join the festivities and access the music, beer tent, and food trucks.
