Tedford Housing is seeking a motivated, proven, shift leader to supervise the day-to-day operations of our emergency shelter located in Brunswick, Maine. Our ideal candidate should be able to juggle multiple priorities, be an effective communicator, and a self-starter capable of working independently. Must have familiarity and sensitivity to the challenges and issues faced by people experiencing unsheltered and unhoused living conditions.
The Overnight Shift Lead is a frontline staff member who ensures that nightly operations of the Adult Shelter and Family Shelter programs are functioning smoothly and serves as a mentor to Support Staff on shift. The emergency shelter will serve both single adult guests and families in need of shelter, including unsheltered and unhoused individuals in known encampments within MidCoast area.
This is a 40-hour a week, benefitted position, with a pay rate of $22 per hour with a $2/hour shift differential for working the 11:45pm-8:15am Shift.

Tedford Housing is seeking per diem, part-time and full-time shelter support staff to join our emergency shelter team in Brunswick.
Acting in a direct-service role, this position will support a safe and secure environment for all guests, contribute to the program by engaging with guests, assist with house activities, and ensure that house rules and guidelines are followed. Shelter support staff conduct initial intakes for guests, maintain basic client records and provide orientation for those entering the shelter. Shelter staff are also responsible for light cleaning duties and organization of commons spaces.
The shelter is 365 days a year, 24 hours a day.
Tedford is hiring for daytime, evening and overnight shifts, and each support staff member is required to work on at least one weekend day as part of their regular schedule.
The per diem and part-time positions are a non-benefitted position, with a rate of pay of $21/hour with a 3rd overnight shift differential of $2/hour.
The full-time positions are benefited for staff working 32 hours+, with a rate of pay of $21/hour with a 3rd overnight shift differential of $2/hour.

The Front Desk Receptionist will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing various administrative tasks. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting. This position also requires sound judgment and composure when assisting individuals who may be experiencing emergencies or seeking housing-related support. Multitasking and stress management skills are essential for this position.
This is a 40-hour a week, benefitted position, with a pay rate of $25 per hour.
Typical hours will be Monday through Friday from 7:45 am to 4:15 pm, with a 30 minute lunch break.

This is a full-time, benefitted position, at a rate of pay of $21 per hour.
