Tedford Housing is seeking a motivated, proven, operational manager to supervise the day-to-day operations of an overnight Warming Center located in Brunswick, Maine.

The typical schedule for this shift during the warming center season will be 5:00 pm – 1:00 am Monday through Friday. However, the candidate must be willing to work flexible hours including evenings, overnights, early mornings, and occasional weekend hours. Position includes weekday on call duties.    

This is a seasonal, unbenefited position at 40 hours per week at a rate of pay of $28 per hour. Position will start on 10/1/26 and end on 5/5/27.   

Hiring bonus of $1,000 to be paid upon successful completion of employment of the full Warming Center season with final paycheck.

Tedford Housing is seeking (2) Part Time temporary security specialists to work at our overnight winter Warming Center in Brunswick. In this important role, the security specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring a safe and secure environment for our staff, volunteers and guests. 

This temporary, non-benefitted position will require weekend shift work. Working hours are from 5:30 pm to 11:30 pm, with 3 to 4 shifts per week. Rate of pay for this position is: $24 per hour. Background check is required.

Tedford Housing is currently hiring multiple temporary, unbenefited full-time and part-time evening and overnight Warming Center Support Staff. Shifts run from 5:30 pm to 1:00 am or 12:45 pm to 8:45 am and are ideal for a person who is looking for three to five shifts per week.

Support Staff will be expected to participate in mandatory orientation from November 2 through November 13, 2026 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm each day with a 1-hour lunch break. Regular Warming Center support staff shifts start on November 15, 2026 and end on April 30, 2027.

The Warming Center Support Staff position is a temporary, unbenefited position at a rate of pay of $23.00 per hour with a $2/hour overnight shift differential for staff working the 12:45pm-8:45am shift.
