One of the most important and longest running volunteer efforts at Tedford Housing is the Meal-A-Month program. Restaurants, churches, neighborhood groups, individuals and others take turns providing a meal for guests at the adult shelter at 49 Cumberland Street in Brunswick every single night of the year.
We ask volunteers to provide a nutritious meal for 12 people. Most meals include a main course, vegetable and/or salad, bread/starch, and sometimes fruit or desert and condiments (salad dressing, butter, etc.).
The meal is served at 5:00pm and can be delivered to the shelter at 49 Cumberland Street in Brunswick any time before 4:00pm.
