As a nonprofit organization, Tedford Housing relies on community support to help fulfill its mission to find lasting solutions to the challenges of homelessness.
Following are some of our most needed items. We are always grateful to those who can donate these items, as they directly help our shelter guests, supportive housing tenants and outreach clients. Some items go to our emergency shelters. Some donations help our guests moving into permanent housing get a better start. Some help those who are at risk of becoming homeless. All are appreciated!
(You can also view our general Wish List.)
Here is what we most need for March 2018:
- Brunswick trash bags
- Diapers (sizes 3 and 4, in particular)
- Baby wipes
- Toiletries (full-sized, unopened)
- Gas cards
- Hannaford gift cards
Please note, we do not accept donations of clothing, used mattresses, used pillows, electronics or appliances.
To coordinate the drop-off of your donation, contact Director of Development Jennifer Iacovelli at 207-729-1161, #101 or email.

I am trying to reclaim space in my small cottage and find I have some pots and pans plus assorted cooking utensils like spatulas which I don’t need. I also have some games no longer being used. I’m wondering if you might find a use for any of these items. I could bring by what I have for you to look through if you are interested.
Thank you for your consideration.

Hi Patricia. We don’t need the games, but the household items – pots and pans, cooking utensils, etc. – would definitely be helpful! You can drop them off to our admin office at 14 Middle Street in Brunswick. Best time is between 9am and 4pm, M-Th. Thanks!
