Tedford Housing’s Most Needed Items for March 2017

As a nonprofit organization, Tedford Housing relies on community support to help fulfill its mission to find lasting solutions to the challenges of homelessness.

Each month, we share some of our most needed items. We are always grateful to those who can donate these items, as they directly help our shelter guests, supportive housing tenants and a growing number of outreach clients. Some items go to our emergency shelters. Some donations help our guests moving into permanent housing get a better start. Some help those who are at risk of becoming homeless. All are appreciated!

Here is what we most need for March 2017:

  • Non-perishable food
  • Coffee (ground)
  • Paper towels
  • Toilet paper
  • Tissues
  • Bar soap
  • Dog poop bags
  • Laundry detergent
  • Dryer sheets
  • Shower curtain liners
  • Towels
  • Women’s sanitary products
  • Deodorant
  • Trash bags
  • Men’s electric razor
  • Regular razors (men’s and women’s – new, in packaging)
  • Shaving cream (men’s and women’s)
  • Umbrellas
  • Cleaning supplies (a bucket filled with supplies for kitchen and bathroom works best)
  • Gas cards
  • Hannaford or Shaw’s gift cards
  • Walmart gift cards

Please note, we do not accept donations of clothing, mattresses, electronics or appliances.
