On the Curtis Money Blog: 6 Tips to Help Save Money During the Maine Winter

December 1, 2015 By Jennifer Leave a Comment

Our neighbors at Curtis Memorial Library shared a post written by Jennifer Iacovelli, Tedford Housing’s director of development, that includes 6 tips to help save money during the cold Maine winter. The tips were provided by Tedford Housing’s homeless prevention case manager, Pauline Hanson.

Here’s the first tip:

  1. Pay your fuel company throughout the year. If you are unable to get onto a monthly budget because it is too costly, saving something toward your heating needs is always helpful, even if it is only enough for that first fill up before the heating programs open up.

Check out all of Pauline’s helpful tips on the Curtis Money blog: 6 Tips to Help Save Money During the Maine Winter
