Tedford Housing is appreciative of the support of community members during the holiday season, whether it is through donating items from our everyday wish list, purchasing gifts for families or contributing to our annual fund.
This year, Tedford Housing is partnering with Pathway Vineyard Church to provide holiday support to our shelter guests, homeless prevention families and supportive housing tenants through the “Christmas Store.”
Families will have the opportunity to “shop” the store at no cost to them. Kids will also be able to shop for parents in a special area. There will be fun crafts, Christmas movies, coffee, hot cocoa, and other treats while families wait their turn to shop. Everyone will get equal access to gifts and have the opportunity to have their gifts wrapped.
To help stock the store for parents and kids, we are looking for the following new items:
- Towels & washcloths
- Blankets (twin and queen sizes)
- Pillows
- Pots & Pans
- Dish Sets
- Dish Towels
- Hats & Mittens
- Socks for Adults
- Stocking Stuffers
- Toys
New, unwrapped items can be donated by Thursday, November 28th to Tedford Housing or by December 3rd to Pathway Vineyard Church.
We will also be looking for volunteers to help us “staff” the Christmas store and help organize the items prior to the event.
