Our long term goal is to place people in permanent affordable housing. Many of those who are homeless have physical and/or mental health challenges and might face an overwhelming number of stresses in their lives.
Tedford manages six supported housing apartment complexes with a total of 39 units for previously homeless individuals and families. Tenants pay subsidized rent and they are required to follow the rules of the building. Supportive Housing simply means that a case manager is available to assist the tenants obtain services and advocate for these clients on an individualized basis.
