Tedford Housing works with families and individuals who are at risk of becoming homeless so they can stay in their house or apartment, whenever possible. For example, an unexpected medical bill or a car repair can cause someone to get behind on their rent.
Homeless prevention case managers advocate for clients and help them with tasks such as budgeting, accessing services and decision-making. In some cases, Tedford is able to assist with a rent payment or security deposit if the client demonstrates the ability to pay for the housing going forward.
